EVERYZING RECEIVES 2009 MITX AWARD FOR BEST RICH MEDIA TECHNOLOGY

Company Wins Third Prestigious MITX Award and is Recognized as a Leader in Universal Search and Publishing

WOBURN, MA., June 18, 2009 —
EveryZing, Inc., a next-generation universal search and publishing technology provider, has been selected as the winner in the category of Rich Media for the 2009 MITX Technology Awards, an annual awards program that recognizes achievements in the development and implementation of innovative technologies.  Winners were announced in ten categories, as well as several “Best of” awards and the new PricewaterCoopers Promise Awards, at a sold out ceremony attended by more than 350 industry professionals held on June 16th at the Copley Westin in Boston.

“I speak on behalf of my entire team when I say it is an incredible honor to take home the MITX award for Rich Media this year,” said Tom Wilde, CEO.  “It is gratifying to receive this recognition from our peers and colleagues, especially when competing against such respected, well-known industry leaders.  This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the EveryZing team, and the far-reaching benefits of a turnkey solution that enables our customers to better capitalize on the explosive online advertising market.”

EveryZing was selected for the award based on two key components of the company’s solution suite — MediaCloud and MetaPlayer.  MediaCloud is the first product on the Web to leverage cloud computing to generate and manage rich metadata, while MetaPlayer is a full video player framework that allows publishers to integrate advanced viral capabilities, increase interactivity and immediately drive monetization.

ENTERPRISE SEARCH EXPERT JOINS EVERYZING EXECUTIVE TEAM

Strategic Hire Highlights Company Growth in Universal Search And Publishing Markets

WOBURN, Mass. – June 17, 2009 – EveryZing, Inc., a next-generation universal search and publishing technology provider, today announced that Tauseef Bashir has joined the company as Vice President for Sales & Business Development.  Bashir joins EveryZing at a time when the company is experiencing rapid growth and adoption of its solutions amongst media companies, and follows last month’s announcement of a strategic partnership with NBC and investment from Peacock Equity.  Bashir brings deep experience from both the enterprise software and media industries and will be focused on expanding EveryZing’s partnering activities among television, radio, and print media companies.

“We are at an exciting point in EveryZing’s market development,” said Stephen Baker, EveryZing CRO.  “Our unique approach to unlocking and leveraging the vast quantities of online content enables media companies to improve the user experience and monetization potential of their websites.  ezSEARCH and ezSEO are the only solutions available with the ability to comprehensively index content of all formats, poising the company for tremendous growth.  Tauseef’s impressive industry experience, management background, and track record with rapid-growth companies make him an excellent fit with our company. We are delighted that EveryZing’s continued success has enabled us to add Tauseef to the team.”

Over the past 12 years, Bashir has held a variety of enterprise software sales and management roles with leading software companies and start-ups.  Prior to EveryZing, Tauseef was the CEO and Founder of TauMed, a semantic health search engine and video sharing community.  Prior to starting TauMed, Bashir was a Regional Vice President at FAST, a Microsoft subsidiary, where he led revenue growth through relationships with leading web publishers, including IAC, Edmunds, and BestBuy. Prior to FAST, Bashir was the lead sales manager in the Bay Area for Autonomy, where he negotiated agreements with the leading enterprises such as Sun Microsystems and Fujitsu. Bashir’s business development experience combined with his unique knowledge of online publishing, search, and the needs of online media companies will enable EveryZing to broaden its market reach and grow overall revenue.

“As companies increasingly produce multimedia content, they are struggling to provide applications that allow the discovery of all forms of content, including text, video, audio, and images,” Bashir said.  “Nowhere is this more apparent than in the media and entertainment industry where future monetization opportunities rely on packaging all content for online consumption.  EveryZing’s offerings are the clear industry leader in this regard and I look forward to joining the team at a time when many enterprises will be replacing and upgrading their existing search and publishing platforms.”
