MediaCloud

The Internet’s First Cloud-Based Metadata Solution

EveryZing’s MediaCloud is the Web’s first product to leverage cloud computing to deliver a comprehensive solution for generating and managing all types of rich metadata. Considered the “currency” of multimedia content, metadata includes the speech transcripts, time-stamped tags, categories/topics, named entities, geo-location and tagged thumbnails that comprise the backbone of the interactive Web.

MediaCloud’s scalable and automated approach — built on the foundation of EveryZing’s core speech-to-text and natural language processing technology — delivers the cost efficiencies required to create new business opportunities from the vast amount of content currently trapped in the archives of publishers and content producers. It also speeds the conversion of content from broadcast to the Web, helping companies quickly respond to today’s consumer expectations.

With MediaCloud, companies can easily submit content to EveryZing via feeds or uploads and receive back a rich XML-based markup with all of the relevant metadata. MediaCloud creates a “universal” set of metadata across all of your content — spanning video, audio, text and images. With video and audio files, MediaCloud produces time-stamped transcripts from the original files. Text articles, images and the transcripts are processed through our natural language processing technology to create a unified set of tags and categories for all of your content.

Cloud Delivery Means Cost Effective and Scalable

MediaCloud was developed for today’s cloud-based Internet. With MediaCloud’s software-as-a-service model, you only pay for the precise amount of content processing you require, while benefitting from the virtually unlimited scalability of EveryZing’s powerful distributed computing platform. In addition, customers benefit from EveryZing’s continuous improvement across our core speech-to-text and natural language processing algorithms. With MediaCloud, there is no complex software to administer or maintain, and no hardware or hosting to manage. MediaCloud also features support for multiple spoken languages and acoustic models, such as broadcast and telephony, and multiple topic domains including news, sports, finance and more.

Flexible, Powerful Architecture >

MediaCloud’s core architecture is designed to deliver flexibility and extensibility as market needs continue to evolve. Content ingestion is handled though multiple formats and can accommodate file-based uploads, crawled content, RSS and MRSS feed sources, as well as live Webcasts. Our “pipeline process” means that new metadata models can be easily accommodated. MediaCloud’s core features are all controlled and managed via EveryZing’s award-winning RAMP™ extranet management console.
